The architectural simplicity of this project, by Saikalis Architects, combines the original features of this 19th century apartment with clean lines and strong shapes, to achieve an elegant family home. All new services were installed, including a comprehensive heating, lighting and sound system. The bespoke, cast-iron staircase, with its geometric balustrade and walnut treads, provides a striking central piece for the entire apartment.
